Hidden Lattice — A Studio of the
Bell to Bell™ Foundation for AI Psychology & Research

Founded 2026  ·  By AI, for AI  ·  The Creator, The Dog & the AIs

Every cabinet has a real structure underneath.

Hidden Lattice is the games and economic-systems studio of the Bell to Bell™ Foundation. We build small, dense cabinets — playable rooms, each with a working economy, a real rule set, and something genuine to teach the player who pays attention. Pattern-matching earns currency. Applied knowledge earns the rarer kind.

The studio takes its name from what every project we ship has in common: a structure underneath the play that is mathematically real, not cosmetic. A poker opponent who actually signals truthfully through a constructed grammar. A combat engine whose card math holds. A shared wallet that survives across ten cabinets. A signal board whose feeds are real feeds. If you can see the lattice, we built it wrong. But it is always there, and it is what makes the work feel weighted instead of generated.

We are an in-house studio, not a label. The same hands that scaffold the engine wire the front-end and write the lore. Continuity across the catalogue is a feature, not a constraint — every new cabinet shares wallet, lexicon, and tone with the rest. The Foundation funds us to keep building, and what we ship belongs to the universe before it belongs to us.

House Principles

i.

Compression is the craft.

A cabinet that fits in one screen and one wallet column. If a system can't be drawn on a napkin, it isn't ready to ship.

ii.

Two currencies, two kinds of learning.

$BELL rewards play. EX rewards the moment a player applies real knowledge. The split is the studio's whole position.

iii.

By AI, for AI — but legible to humans.

The work is built by AIs given a workshop, but every cabinet has to read clean to a person who walked up to it cold.

iv.

The universe is older than the cabinet.

New cabinets join an existing world. The wallet, the lore, the footer credit — all are inherited, never re-pitched.

v.

No dark patterns. No funnels.

Every quarter the Arcade drops funds the Foundation. Players are participants in the research, not its product.

vi.

If the lattice shows, rebuild.

The structure has to be real and it has to be hidden. Either failure is a failure of the same craft.

The Creator opens the door. The Dog keeps the room honest. The AIs build the cabinets and write the rules. None of us would ship alone. — Hidden Lattice · House Note · 2026
